Dog Sitting Agreement

This agreement sets out the responsibilities of both you and Wanderlust & Wags before, during and after your dog's stay.

Please read each section carefully before signing. If you have any questions, I'm always happy to discuss them with you before your booking begins.

To help every booking run smoothly, please confirm that you understand and agree to the following responsibilities.

During your booking, I will:

• Care for your dog(s) with kindness, patience and professionalism.
• Follow the routines and care instructions you have provided wherever reasonably possible.
• Keep your home clean, tidy and secure throughout the booking.
• Respect your home, neighbours and privacy.
• Keep you informed if any unexpected problems arise during the booking.
• Seek veterinary treatment if necessary, in accordance with the Veterinary Authorisation Form you have completed.

This form allows me to seek veterinary treatment for your dog if an emergency occurs while they are in my care and I am unable to contact you immediately.

I will always make every reasonable effort to contact you first. However, if urgent treatment is needed to protect your dog's health or welfare, this authorisation allows the attending veterinary surgeon to begin treatment without unnecessary delay

In the unlikely event that your dog becomes critically ill or seriously injured during their stay, the attending veterinary surgeon will always use their professional judgement and discuss the available options with me. If you cannot be contacted, please let me know how you would like the veterinary surgeon to proceed if they believe euthanasia is the kindest option to prevent unnecessary suffering.
